Students will design a newpaper that is about the 13th, 14th, or 15th Amendment.
These groups are simulating rival newspapers and each group must use resources
listed on the Library of Congress website by the teacher as well as find their
own sources.
They must provide supporting and opposing viewpoints that pertain
to the Amendment they were assigned and create a top quality newspaper that
provides full insight to different connections linked with thier amendment.
The newspaper should include pictures, graphs, opposing and supporting viewpoints,
and quotes. There should be five articles in the newspaper and each group member
must contribute to an article either by writing or finding resources.
